In February 2020, Founder of the TPF Foundation, Megan Pandey inaugurated the washrooms built using funds she collected via an art exhibition held to raise said funds.
A year before the inauguration, Pandey and her family visited the school where the washrooms were built. They saw that the toilets already made there were unhygienic and relatively primitive. Therefore, they decided to raise money through selling art pieces and hire workers to build the now working toilets.
